It is crafted from white gold, with fine white baguette-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds spread all across its surface, covering the entire housing and dial. In addition, the case is graced with two fiery cushion-shaped rubies and arrives on a matching ruby red satin strap, with a pink buckle decorated with 30 diamonds.

Representing the second chapter in a collection presented in 2012 in Geneva, the new ‘Métiers d’Art Les Univers Infinis’ creations pursue Vacheron Constantin’s glowing tribute to the graphic art of tessellation. Three new watches have been unveiled: the Angel watch, the Lizard watch and the Horsemen watch, to add to the previous set of the Dove, Fish and Shell models. Inspired by the work of Dutch artist Cornelis Escher, the new trilogy uses the technique of periodic paving to create a strikingly hypnotic effect. Gold and mother-of-pearl marquetry is accompanied by engraving, enamelling, gemsetting and guilloché work, to create trompe l’oeil dials featuring infinitely entwined elements of geometry, movement and symbolism.
