Pokemon GO will team up with Longchamp for what might be its most unique weeks to date in October. 

Fashion and video games are a match that seems to be working pretty well these days. Luxury brands have also tapped into the catalog of virtual heroes and heroines to make them their new muses.

The famous augmented reality video game Pokemon GO — which has been nothing short of a social phenomenon since its release in 2016 — will be taking up residence in the French capital tomorrow. And for good reason, the leather goods manufacturer is launching a whole collection featuring Pikachu, a worthy representative of ‘kawaii’ fashion, in a full reinterpretation of its emblematic bags.

This unusual partnership of Longchamp, a leather goods company based in Paris, with Pokeman Go is to celebrate the start of 2020’s Paris Fashion Week. The event will begin on Friday, October 2, 2020. Fans of the video game will also be able to discover a new accessory in the Pokémon GO store, a Longchamp virtual backpack, from Oct. 2 to Nov. 17. Then they will be able to match their Trainer avatar by picking up the same Longchamp item in stores. It’s the perfect way to turn your avatar into a fashionista.
