The bridal majors, however, aren’t the only one to offer trousseau services in Indian. Given the size of the Indian bridal market, there are several willing to cater to the bride, and often the groom’s every desire. So, design retail chain Goodearth has launched its bridal registry service under which the couple-to-be can register for a range of home décor accessories, indulgent bed linen, wellness products and dinnerware. “For us, it is an extension into the crucial bridal market, which is one of the biggest in India,” says Simran Lal, CEO, Goodearth. “The bridal registry market is at its nascent state in the country but will grow with time. Besides, Non Resident Indians are our biggest target market for the registry services.”
These bespoke services prove that there is no business like the wedding business in India.
